Aspen Ladd began her journey to combat sports at teenager age. Aspen Ladd trained in BJJ, kickboxing, boxing, and wrestling prior to her professional debut at WCFC at the age of 18. Ladd went on an impressive 3-fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat. In each of the three bouts she beat her opponent right in the first round. She then went back to WCFC to beat Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen won over Silvia B beghian as well as Maddy Simmons prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia dominated Aspen to defeat her in a unanimous decision, putting a black mark on Ladd's records in her amateur. Ladd recovered from the defeat and beat Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to take her record up to 8-1. Aspen began her professional career in the year 2015. She joined Invicta FC and made her debut. The InvictaFC11 fight was her first professional fight. Aspen dominated Ana Carolina Vidal, securing an 1st round TKO. Invicta took on her in the Bantamweight division and was victorious via submission armbar during the second round. Aspen made use of her wrestling prowess to defeat McGill in the third round of a TKO. Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy (138.1lb at Invicta FC) at a "catchweight"(138.1lb) as Ladd failed to make weight. Aspen, however, dominated Hoy through TKO. Invicta FC 28 was her last bout for the organization. Invicta FC 22 saw Sijara Eubanks beaten by a an unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC at UFC Fight Night 118, against Lina Langsberg. She was a step ahead of Lina with her ground and pound techniques which resulted in an TKO second round victory. She continued her dominance and scored an even impressive victory in her next fight against Tonya Evinger at UFC 229. Ladd defeated Evinger in the very first round and earned a reward for her performance during the night. Invicta FC, a rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and Lee She fought Sijara Eubanks for her first significant fight. Ladd took home the night's fight bonus after both fighters fought an intense fight back and forth. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie was able to finish the fight in just 16 seconds and stop Ladd and her winning streak. Yana Knitskaya fell in the 3rd round at UFC 7 at ESPN. In her most recent fight with the UFC she fought Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 to replace her fight. The fight was a unanimous decision.
