Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri is an Indian actress, who gained recognition for her performance in Hum Aapke Hain Koun and Beta Saajan. The actress was initially famous for the role she played in the 1980s film Tezaab where she co-starred alongside veteran actor Anil Koopor. Then, she starred alongside Aamir in Dil. In Mumbai the city she was born within a middle class family parents. When she was a young age, she started to study dance. At the age of 16 She began to act and suffered for several years as the majority of her first films were failures. Her breakthrough came when she finally had success and became one of the top actresses in the Indian film business. After her marriage, she took an interruption in her career. She returned later. She was recently one of the main characters in Gulaab Gang about Indian women. Dixit received eight Filmfare Awards out of the 15 she was up for nominations. Padma Shri - the fourth most prestigious civilian award of India awarded to Dixit. Her name is well-known for her social works as well.
