Gerina Stevenson, who is the Mexican mother from Rita Stevenson Stevenson and Alan Stevenson Stevenson was born in Mexico. She has Mexican roots, yet is American in nationality. Since the age of a child, she's always had a keen desire to participate in sports. Gerina first started golfing at 15. Gerina went to Goddard High School. She was the winner of the New Mexico State Golf Tournament in her high school years. She was a volleyball player and also competed in state competitions. She entered the University of Texas, Texas in 2003. She was the only winner of all competitions she participated in during her final years. Through her college seasons, she won as the conference's best player of season and UTEP's Female Athletic Champion of Year.
